Tommy was born in Caerphilly, Wales on 19th of March 1921. So he quickly returned to Britain.Sadly, Tommy Cooper died during a TV show on the 15th of April 1984 in London. 'Always leave them laughing'.Perhaps his most lasting claim to fame is inventing the word 'Cooperism' to describe a funny, almost silly joke.
